‘Key election issue’ proving to be critical in four major US states

Daschle Group President and COO Nathan Daschle has told Sky News Australia that “abortion is the number one issue for women voters” ahead of the US election. “It is on the ballot in four states that could be critical in 2024 – that’s Arizona and Nevada in the presidential, and Montana and Florida in the senate race,” Mr Daschle told Sky News Australia. “I was curious as to what kind of bump democrats get when abortion is on the ballot… I found that Democrats in red states or swing states got a four-point bounce, in blue states, it was the exact same – there was zero effect.” Mr Daschle also revealed that the current Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris has an “immediate advantage” in the upcoming polls. “The fact that she [Harris] is not Trump or not Biden gives her an immediate advantage,” he said.
