In a bid to embrace value addition, Members of the Dwaniro Dairy and Livestock Farmers Cooperative in Kiboga district launched a mini dairy processing plant to prevent their milk from being wasted. Producing over 35,000 litres of milk per day, this plant which has a membership of up to 800 farmers will now be producing diary products like yogurt, pasteurized milk and cheese. Speaking at the commissioning of this mini plant, Hon. Bright Rwamirama, Minister of State for Animal Industry, urged farmers to incorporate artificial insemination to have better breeds which will in turn ensure good quality milk to sustain the market. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
