Kikuyu elders urge government to address youth abductions and rising public grievances

Speaking during their annual prayer day held every 31st of December, the council stated that it is unacceptable to witness the abductions and killings of young people, especially as the government responsible for ensuring the safety of its citizens denies that any such abductions have occurred—a statement that many Kenyans have received with great resentment.
