Kill order? Garma, Leonardo answer fellow cop tagging them in PCSO official's death

Santi Mendoza: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eT0q5GFMgg Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager Royina Garma and National Commission (Napolcom) commissioner Edilberto Leonardo, both former police officers, denied on Friday (September 27) the accusation of a fellow cop tagging them in the July 2020 killing of another PCSO official. At the continuation of the House quad-committee probe into extrajudicial killings during the Duterte administration's drug war, Garma and Leonardo were asked to respond to the allegations of PLtCol. Santi Mendoza in relation to the killing of PCSO board secretary Wesley Barayuga. Mendoza claimed that the order to kill Barayuga came from Garma, and was communicated to him by Leonardo. Both Garma and Leonardo said they were surprised by Mendoza's testimony, insisting they hardly know him. "Hindi ko po alam 'yung sinasabi niya," Garma said, when asked to respond by Bukidnon Second District Rep. Jonathan Keith Flores. "This is the first time... Iniisip ko kung saan ko siya nakita. I cannot recall if I've met him or what. Ngayon ko lang din narinig ang name niya." Leonardo answered similarly, saying, "Nagulat nga rin po ako." "Actually, nakilala ko po 'yan I think isang beses lang. I know he's an underclass po namin. Maliban doon, wala na po akong... Hindi ko na po siya gaanong kakilala," he said.
