King Charles ruffles feathers as he severs ties with pigeon racers

King Charles has ruffled some feathers over his decision to drop royal patronage for pigeon racing. His move to sever ties with pigeon racing has raised questions over his decision and whether animal rights activists had any play in it. GT Communication’s Gemma Tognini joined Sky News host Caroline Di Russo to discuss the recent move made by the monarch. “I mean I don’t know how much animal welfare issues arise from pigeon racing to be honest perhaps it’s a diary issue,” Ms Tognini said. “I think he could have punted it down to a more junior role now that’s his the King. “It’s anyone’s guess as to whether this was politics, diary or just disinterest.”
