KUCO calling on EACC to investigate policies within the Social Health Insurance Authority

The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO) is calling on the ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate policies within the Social Health Insurance Authority (SHA) that are allegedly facilitating corruption and extortion of clinical officers. The union claims that a policy requiring clinical officers to register with the kenya medical practitioners and dentists union (KMPDU) to be empaneled by sha is creating a situation of double licensure.
