Kursk offensive: Ukraine claims further advances in Russia, targets Belgorod region

Ukraine is keeping up its assault on Russia by launching drone attacks on the Belgorod region and pushing deeper into Kursk, where more than 70 Russian towns and settlements are believed to be under Ukrainian control. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also claims that 100 Russian prisoners have been captured, while Russia’s defence ministry says nearly 200,000 Kursk residents have been displaced.
