LA County DA's race: George Gascón, Nathan Hochman jump out to early lead

Incumbent Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón jumped out to an early lead Tuesday night in his bid to retain his seat. With about 37% of the votes tallied less than an hour after polls closed, Gascón had about 23% of the ballots counted, followed by Nathan Hochman at 18%.
