LA Wildfires: Fire chief warns of "next wave of wind events"
Los Angeles City Fire Chief Kristin Crowley on Sunday warned residents of strong north to northeast winds, gusts are up to 50 MPH with low humidity... A red flag warning is in effect and will remain until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening. Crowley added that "Strong Santa Ana winds are also expected to last through Wednesday, with the strongest winds occurring on Tuesday." During the update, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said, "The city has created an online hub at LACity.gov to create a single place for people to go for assistance or to find ways to help our community. This includes evacuation zones, FEMA support, resources for small businesses, and more."
