Labor’s budget spending is ‘making the situation worse’

Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume has slammed the Albanese government for its budget spending which is “making the situation worse”. Support for the Albanese government has fallen, according to the latest Newspoll. Labor’s primary vote has decreased to 32 per cent, while support for the Coalition has increased to 39 per cent. “The number one issue for Australians is cost of living, and that’s being driven by inflation,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia. “The government has taken its eye off the ball, and the RBA have called out the fact that their spending, which has had an increase over every single budget, is actually making the situation worse.”
