Nationals Senator Matt Canavan has warned Labor’s move to ban live sheep export will "cruel the whole industry”. The federal government has announced Australia will stop live sheep exports by 2028. The Albanese government pledged more than $100 million to help support farmers and producers ahead of the major transition.
