Labor’s primary vote seeing ‘significant drops’ in critical areas of Sydney

RedBridge Group Director Simon Welsh says the NSW council elections have been a “shock to the system” for the Labor Party. The major parties have been put to the test during last weekend’s council elections in New South Wales. “What we have seen is – across key parts of Sydney, particularly in the west of Sydney – we are seeing pretty significant drops on the primary vote for the Labor Party,” Mr Welsh told Sky News Australia. “It’s happening in some very critical areas.”
