Labor seeks to stop ripoff surcharges

As Australians are heading to Christmas, Labor is vowing to stop dodgy ripoff surcharges for sporting, entertainment and aviation tickets. The Albanese Government plans to introduce laws next year to ensure drip charging comes to an end. Labor is speaking to the Reserve Bank to find the best way to remove debit card surcharges for all. The surcharges, which are expected to be cut completely by the beginning of next year - won't hurt small businesses.
