Labour minister calls for good sense to prevail

The labour minister is calling for good sense to prevail surrounding the impasse at the port of Port-of-Spain centred around a wage increase. Stephen Mc Clashie maintains urgent dialogue is needed to quell the ongoing tensions between the Seamen and Waterfront Workers Trade Union and the port authority. And while the union boss is willing to meet with the labour minister, the works minister says government is not obligated to honour the agreement. Here's more.
