Laos methanol poisoning: 5 tourists dead from tainted alcohol

At least five tourists have died from suspected methanol poisoning in Laos, with one 19-year-old Australian tourist in critical condition in hospital in Bangkok. The victims fell ill after consuming tainted drinks in Vang Vieng, a town popular with backpackers. The latest fatality is a British woman.
