Tourists in Nyingchi City in Xizang Autonomous Region, panicked when a large snowball rolled towards them at the Kadling Gorge scenic area on March 8. The incident was caused by climatic conditions that led to snow accumulation near a waterfall. Authorities explained that the slow melting of snow formed the snowball, but reassured that the slope was gentle and the event was not an avalanche. No injuries were reported, and the area's operations were unaffected.
