Leaders in Arua, Koboko ask for more support for refugees

A survey conducted by the International Cooperation Agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities in 2023, as reflected in the 2024 report from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, revealed that Koboko Municipality hosts approximately 24,936 self-settled refugees. This accounts for 33.6 percent of the municipality's population, placing additional pressure on social services such as health and education.
