Leadership chaos continues in Victoria's Liberal Party

Victoria Shadow Finance Minister Jess Wilson has launched an eleventh hour bid to challenge Brad Battin for the state Opposition leadership this morning. This still hinges on if the party votes to oust current Liberal Leader John Pesutto. The Opposition leader has held the post for two years, but has been under pressure to step aside after losing his defamation case to Moira Deeming. Party sources say Mr Battin has already secured the votes to become leader.
