Lebanon hit with flood

Several roads were closed in Beirut on Saturday, Dec. 23, after heavy rainfall in the Lebanese capital which caused the city's river to burst its banks. Civil defense teams were seen assisting some motorists who were stranded in the floodwater and evacuated people from around 40 cars stuck in flooded streets near the river.
