Strategic Analysis Australia’s Michael Shoebridge says Lebanon’s “already weak” economy and infrastructure will be “destroyed” if they provoke Israel. Tensions have continued to escalate in the Middle East after Israel launched airstrikes against southern Lebanon. “Hezbollah does not want a conflict that brings the house down on Lebanon,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Caroline Marcus. “They’ve got a terribly troubled economy, already very weak public infrastructure. “All of that will get radically destroyed and damaged if they provoke Israel.”
