Tensions have continued to escalate in the Middle East after Israel launched airstrikes against southern Lebanon. “Hezbollah does not want a conflict that brings the house down on Lebanon,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Caroline Marcus. “They’ve got a terribly troubled economy, already very weak public infrastructure. “All of that will get radically destroyed and damaged if they provoke Israel.”
