Leftie media ‘doubling down’ on dangerous anti-Trump bias

Sky News host Rita Panahi has hit out at US mainstream media coverage of the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. It comes as conservative watchdog group Media Research Centre found that despite a second attempt on Donald Trump’s life, the bulk of the mainstream media in the US has not lowered the temperature on its anti-Trump coverage. In the first 72 hours following the second assassination attempt on the former president, 95 per cent of (American) ABC, CBS, and NBC’s portrayal of Trump was negative. “That’s quite remarkable because this is such an astonishing event to occur, to have an attempt on a candidate’s life, a former president, to have it happen twice in two months,” Ms Panahi said. “Yet still no sympathy, no, okay, maybe we should stop calling him a threat to democracy. None of that. It’s just doubling down.”
