LEVERAGING CENSUS DATA FOR GENDER EQUALITY: ICRW'S COMMITMENT TO EMPOWERING WOMEN IN UGANDA

The International Centre for Research on Women (ICRW) has reaffirmed its dedication to utilizing data for the empowerment of women and girls. Despite the inherent challenges in data collection and utilization, Kirabo Suubi, a Gender Economist from ICRW, expressed optimism about the census data's potential to advance gender equality in Uganda through evidence-based research. Evidence-based data will play a crucial role in understanding and addressing gaps in gender inequity.
