LIAT To Wind Up In January

After nearly half a century of operating under Caribbean government ownership, the 67 year old regional carrier, LIAT, is set to conclude its current phase as LIAT (1974) Ltd. The court-appointed administrator for the cash-strapped regional airline says the airline will wind up its operations in its current form on January 24th this year.
