Liberal Senator calls out Labor’s ‘Orwellian’ misinformation bill

Liberal Senator Claire Chandler reveals her issues with the Albanese government’s “Orwellian” misinformation bill. Ms Chandler recently voiced her concern over ‘Albanese’s political censorship plan’ in an article for The Spectator Australia. “It outlines the issues that we have in this country when government tries to regulate what can and can’t be said in the marketplace of ideas,” she told Sky News host Rowan Dean. “Whether that is speaking face-to-face as once was the way that people had these conversations. “And now we’re having a similar conversation about whether or not speech should be regulated on social media.”
