Liberals make ‘important concession call’ to Labor: Dunkley by-election

Sky News Victorian Political Reporter Simon Love says he understands that Liberal candidate Nathan Conroy has made the “important concession call” to Labor candidate Jodi Belyea for the Dunkley by-election. The by-election, on Saturday, was held following the passing of Labor MP Peta Murphy. Sky News has predicted Labor will retain the seat with the election of Jodi Belyea. “That important concession call, I understand, has gone through,” Mr Love said. “Jodi Belyea will shortly be here at the bowls club to say that she will become the next federal member for Dunkley.”
