‘Life-changing for these country trainers’: Racing Dreams visit Tamworth Qualifier

Racing Dreams host Tim Gilbert visited the country music capital of Australia, Tamworth, to experience the Country Championships Qualifier. “Great initiative by Racing NSW and a big thank you to Newhaven Park for supporting the initiative,” Tamworth Jockey Club CEO Jack Penfold told Mr Gilbert. “Very well received by our local trainers – they really target this day and it’s exciting. “They’re racing for $150,000 and the top two go to Sydney on April 6 and they race for $1 million. “So that’s life-changing for these country trainers.” In partnership with Racing NSW.
