The 26th edition of Harbin Ice and Snow World officially opened its doors on December 21 in Harbin, the capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. This year's park features 24 ice slides, each over 500 meters in length, a "Snow Disco" stage and a variety of detailed ice sculptures. Covering a planned area of 1 million square meters, it is now recognized as the largest ice-and-snow theme park in the world and this year's edition is the biggest in its 26-year history.
