World Central Kitchen Gaza Stops Work: Impact On Hungry Gazans & What Work They Have Done Explained Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu chief admits the killing of the aid workers in Gaza was a mistake but only after the deaths prompted a chorus of international outrage...even from allies. But this regret is not going to save the people of Gaza from starvation....as world charities hesitate to help out. World Central Kitchen, the food charity founded by celebrity chef José Andrés, called a halt to its work in the Gaza Strip after an Israeli strike killed seven of its workers, mostly foreigners. The group, which said it will make decisions about longer-term plans in the region soon, has been bringing desperately needed food to Gazans facing widespread hunger and pioneered the recently launched effort to deliver aid by sea from Cyprus. Its absence, even if temporary, is likely to deepen the war-torn territory's misery as the United Nations warns that famine is imminent. And even though Israel has claimed that they are doing their best to ensure aid reaches Gaza's people....one is left wondering could cutting off food supplies be another well planned strategy of war? Here's a look at the charity's work in Gaza and what its absence could mean. #ISRAEL #ISRAELANDGAZA #isralenews Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
