‘Lives can be prolonged’: Clinical cancer trials underway in North Sydney

NSLHD Chair of Research Professor Bruce Robinson says “people’s lives can be prolonged” with some clinical trials which are being conducted at the NORTH Sydney Trials and Research Van Norton Poche (NORTH S.T.A.R VNP). “Many of my own patients have been placed on trials which have really lengthened their lives,” he told Sky News Australia. “That is a not uncommon consequence of the type of drugs we test now.”
