Local delegation visiting schools around the U.S.

A Barbados delegation is visiting high schools and universities around the U.S. that are involved in medical education. The latest stop for the team which included representatives of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital along with Barbados Consul General to Miami, Rudy Grant was the Waggener High School in Kentucky to talk to students about careers in the medical field. Waggener has a health science academy which prepares students for a future in the medical field. The delegation was impressed with the hands-on learning and work the school and its academies of Louisville are doing to prepare kids for college and career success. Grant has been speaking about the outreach.
