Local gov’t minister, Raphael Magyezi to upgrade Kitoba sub county

The Hoima District Council has passed a resolution endorsing the upgrade of Kitoba Sub County to Town Council status. The call came during an extraordinary council meeting held at the district headquarters in Kasingo. The motion was presented by Hellen Mulumba the Hoima District Vice Chairperson, who is also the leader of government business in Council. It comes a week after Local Government Minister Raphael Magyezi designated Kitoba Sub County as a Town Council while meeting Hoima District Officials and residents.
