Los Angeles under siege by out-of-control wildfires

Los Angeles is a city under siege from at least six ferocious fires. Entire neighbourhoods have been scorched while mansions burn to the ground. The death toll remains at five but authorities concede that number will rise. The main fire in Pacific Palisades is causing the most damage – burning through 7,000 hectares.
