‘Lot of work’: Independent MP calling for more opportunities for businesses

Independent MP Allegra Spender says there is a “lot of work” to do in “creating the right environment” for supporting young businesses. Her remarks come as the ACCC is set to sue Coles and Woolworths in the Federal Court over discount pricing. “How do we get the right resources, the right opportunities and the right capital to those young dynamic businesses because that is the best way of driving competition?” Ms Spender told Sky News Australia.
