Macao's return to motherland: What it means to Macao-native Alice Ho

Chinese President Xi Jinping was in Macao for the celebrations and the inauguration of the Macao Special Administrative Region's (SAR) sixth-term government. Macao's younger generation has grown up with the backdrop of China's development. They see their future as closely connected with the mainland and the world. Alice Ho is one of them. She was born in 1999, the same year Macao returned to China. Coming from a prominent family based in Hong Kong and Macao, she sees her career in the cause of climate change. She is the current chief youth officer of the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate and a staff member at Tsinghua University. CGTN's Tian Wei sat down with her at the university.
