Major turnout for MPs' Christmas party
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley and Speaker of the House of Assembly Arthur Holder both set their portfolios aside and were just Members of Parliament for the evening as they hosted a number of their constituents. Prime Minister Mottley, who is the MP for St. Michael North East, and Mr. Holder, who is MP for St. Michael Central, together held their annual Christmas party today at the National Botanical Gardens. Prime Minister Mottley says it is heartening to see such a major turnout for the event. She is also elated to be able to still do her duties as MP. Meanwhile MP Holder says he still enjoys being in the community and he hopes to continue to be able to give support to his constituents.
