MAKING COMMUNICATION EFFECTIVE: GOVERNMENT TO COLLAPSE ALL SECTOR LAWS INTO ONE

Government is in the process of collapsing all Communication related laws into one to make communication across government entities more effective. Legal Frameworks including those establishing Uganda Broadcasting Corporation and Uganda Communications Commission among others will be combined to make one law. Minister for information, Communication Technology and National Guidance Dr. Chris Baryomunsi revealed this during a media dialogue at the ICT Hub in Nakawa where he challenged Journalists to avoid editorial bias.
