Malaysia risks being net importer of oil, gas without energy transition: Economy minister

Malaysia's Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli says the country has reached a critical inflection point in its energy needs, beyond which it risks becoming a net importer of oil and gas. He also defended the government's move to cut domestic fuel subsidies as a key part of fiscal consolidation and energy transition.
