Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke rejects Najib's apology over 1MDB scandal

"To me, the apology does not mean anything," said Malaysia's Transport Minister Anthony Loke, rejecting former prime minister Najib Razak's apology for the 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad) scandal. Najib issued an apology on Oct 24 for his mishandling of the multibillion-dollar scandal, but maintained he had no knowledge of illegal transfers from the now-defunct state fund.
