Man arrested in connection to death of a female friend in Costa Mesa

A man was arrested Tuesday after the body of a woman was found in a trash can in the backyard of a Costa Mesa home. It was not clear how the woman was killed, but police connected the murder to a friend of the victim and arrested him 50 miles away in Glendale.
