Man fatally shot in parking lot near high school in Bellflower was attending son’s football game

A man was shot and killed in a parking lot Saturday morning outside of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, triggering an investigation and a search for a suspect. Investigators said the victim was there to attend his son's game. The child, who is reportedly 8 years old, wasn't with his father at the time of the shooting.
