Man injured after backhouse explodes in Long Beach

A man was left injured after an accessory dwelling unit in Long Beach exploded Monday morning. The explosion happened at around 11 a.m. in the back of a property located on Gale Avenue at West 28th Street. A man in his late 30s was extricated from the rubble and taken to a trauma center in unknown condition.
