Manipur Violence Escalates, RPGs and Drones Used; 6 Dead | India Today

In the first week of September, Manipur has seen a rise in violence involving aerial bombing with drones and RPGs. Five people were killed in Jiribam district, while an explosion in Bishnupur district resulted in one death and five injuries. The violence is linked to ethnic clashes. Chief Minister N Biren Singh met with the governor and party MLAs to discuss the situation.
