In the early 1950s, there was no complete highway in Xizang. Because of the complexity of the terrain, local villages haven't been accessible by roads until recent decades. Then, in 1954, the first highway connecting Xizang was built. Moreover, highways and high-speed railways are being built to facilitate travel for local people. Today, the changes in Xizang improve people's lives – people have delicacies from all over the country, even all over the world.
