As the hours go by, U.S. president-elect Donald Trump is ensuring nothing will stand in the way of his vision for how America will move forward both at home and around the world. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio appears to be a front runner to be America’s top diplomat, according to reports. A foreign policy hawk, he’s advocated for tougher stances against foes like China and Russia — notably on his abilities to circumvent tariffs. He also voted against additional funding for Ukraine, while calling for a negotiated settlement with Russia — which could rattle nerves with European allies who take a different view.
