Marsicans To Play First In Single Pan Final On Saturday
Reigning Single Pan Champs, Chord Masters Steel Orchestra, will play in Position 6 at the National Panorama 2025 Single Pan Bands Finals on Saturday. The draw for Playing Positions for the Single Pan Bands Finals took place on Tuesday at the VIP Lounge of the Queen's Park Savannah. Twenty five bands made the grade for a position in the Finals. The competition will open with Marsicans Steel Orchestra followed by Trinidad Nostalgic Steel Orchestra, Ice Water Pan Ensemble, and Belmont Hi Larks, while Arima All Stars Steel Orchestra, Uni Stars Steel Orchestra, San Juan All Stars Steel Orchestra and San Juan East Side Symphony Steel Orchestra will bring up the rear. Pan Trinbago President, Beverly Ramsey-Moore, hailed the milestone as a testament to the dedication, talent, and hard work displayed by each participating band. "From the first band, Marsicans, right down to the 25th band, I look forward to a beautiful event. Trinidad and Tobago, we invite you to come out in your numbers, and to give support to indigenous bands. It is the foundation on which we stand. We cannot do without our Single Pan Bands." Reigning Single Pan Champs, Chord Masters Steel Orchestra will appear in Position 6 while their nearest rivals, Trinidad East Side Symphony, will play in number 9. Tobago Bands, Metro Stars Steel Orchestra and Hope Pan Groovers, will appear in positions 12 and 13 respectively. "Only $150 and so we expect to see a packed house as we are about to start the Carnival. In Pan Trinbago, we have declared that there is no season for pan and we have also said that we will not be boxed into a Carnival period so that we have so many competing events. Now we have the opportunity to support every category." 'Steelpan Fuh So - Unleash D Power' is Pan Trinbago's theme for National Panorama 2025. Mrs. Ramsey-Moore proclaims Pan is the people of Trinidad and Tobago. "Pan Trinbago stands committed to the development of Trinidad and Tobago, using pan as a vehicle for social transformation, using pan as a vehicle to change lives, using pan to impact on families, thereby strengthening families. The National Panorama 2025 Single Pan Bands Finals kick off at 6pm on Saturday at the Grand Stand of the Queen's Park Savannah.
