Maruzi centre to carry out research and livestock innovation

The National Life Stock Research Resource Institute in Maruzi County, Apac District is being revamped to carry out advanced research and livestock innovation. Dr Yona Baguma, the director general of the National Research Organisation says Maruzi National Life Stock Research Institute will have four research programmes including entomology, meat, dairy and vaccinology will be moved from Nakyesesa in Wakiso District to Maruzi. He says only bio-sciences research will be carried at Nakyesesa.
