Posibleng sa facility ng Correctional Institute for Women (CIW) sa Metro Manila, Palawan, o Davao mananatili si Mary Jane Veloso pagdating niya mula sa Indonesia. Ayon kay Bureau of Corrections Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr., maaaring pumili si Veloso kung saang detention facility siya ikukulong. Sa isang "minimum security compound" umano mananatili si Veloso kasama ang iba pang persons deprived of liberty. Habang nakakulong, sasailalim din daw si Veloso ng training mula sa TESDA. Inaresto sa Yogyakarta, Indonesia si Veloso noong 2010 matapos umanong mahulihan ng heroin sa kaniyang bagahe. Pinatawan siya ng death penalty pero hindi ito natuloy matapos maaresto ang kaniyang recruiter noong 2015.
