MaryHill alumni reunite to support school development with 1 billion shilling pledge
The grandmothers' cohort of MaryHill High School alumni have reunited and joined hands to build and develop their former school. During their three-day reunion, the 1961 to 1974 old girls' cohort, under their umbrella organization MaryHill Old Girls Association (MOGA), had a feel of school life by sleeping on small beds and pledged to continue supporting their former school in various developments. The alumni association chairperson, Christine Kenema, said the old girls committed themselves to raising 1 billion shillings to help in the construction of a standard dormitory and a classroom block to support the school, as the number of learners has increased. The Archbishop of Mbarara, Lambert Bainomugisha, applauded MaryHill old girls for reaching out to support their old school, which has become a beacon of hope in the region, especially for the girl child. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
