Masindi local leaders concerned about high school dropout
Masindi district leaders and parents have expressed concern about the high level of school dropout among learners, attributing it to the long distances students must travel to access schools. Under the government policy, every sub-county is entitled to have a secondary school, but this is not the case in some sub-counties in Masindi. James Balikurungi, the LC3 Chairperson of Lobongo sub-county, says the lack of a government secondary school in the area has largely contributed to the high dropout rate, with over 60% of the learners failing to continue beyond P7.#NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
