Masindi market abandoned for 12 years due to poor location

In the 2011/12 financial year, Masindi District Local Government constructed a daily market in Budongo Sub-County. The market, which cost over 50 million shillings, had all the necessary facilities, including a public toilet. It was intended to centralize vendors and facilitate easy revenue collection.
